Civil War sketches

I've been reading and listening to a lot about the Civil War lately, much of it concerning the 150th Anniversary of the first battle. I started sketching from old photographs and paintings while I listen to podcasts and articles about how it all went down. When it feels like the political climate is completely toxic, it's good to remember that only 150 years ago, we were literally tearing each other apart. Yay, progress!
